هذا العدد الهائل يُشير إلى الرقابة العسكرية المشددة التي يفرضها الاحتلال على إعلامه وإعلامييه وكل ما ينشرونه، وهو أمر ليس بالمستجد، فـ"إسرائيل" عموماً تنظر للإعلام كذراعٍ لسياساتها الاستعمارية، لا يختلف عن الجيش سوى بالأدوات، ويكمل أحدهما الآخر في حربه علينا. صرنا في الشهر التاسع للحرب وما زال كثيرون يصدّقون الإعلام الإسرائيلي ويسارعون لترجمة كل ما هب ودب من "تسريبات" وأخبار، وقد ثبت المرّة تلو المرّة كذبهم وحجم المغالطات والتكتم، وثبت أيضاً في حالاتٍ كثيرة كيف اشتغل إعلامهم على شن حرب نفسية على الحاضنة الشعبية، بأخبار مزيفة ومشاهد تضرب في الروح المعنوية. هذا الرقم يقول لنا: يكفي "تقديساً" لصُحف أعدائنا، لا ضير أن نأخذ منهم ما يفيد، لكن دون أن نتخلى عن تشكيكنا.

Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. The SC urges the public to refer to the SC’s I nvestor Alert List before investing. The list contains details of unauthorised websites, investment products, companies and individuals. Members of the public who suspect that they have been approached by unauthorised firms or individuals offering schemes that promise unrealistic returns WhatsApp, a rival messaging platform, introduced some measures to counter disinformation when Covid-19 was first sweeping the world. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders.
