Второй день подряд продолжаем помогать жителям Южно-Сахалинска, которые столкнулись с последствиями мощного снежного циклона.

В первую очередь помощь нужна пенсионерам, многодетным семьям и людям, которые проживают в частном секторе. Сегодня мое внимание привлекла ситуация на улице Промышленной, 46.

Татьяне Тимофеевне срочно была нужна помощь: дом был сильно заметен, снег навалил на окна, и была реальная опасность, что они могут не выдержать нагрузки.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. In this regard, Sebi collaborated with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to reduce the vulnerability of the securities market to manipulation through misuse of mass communication medium like bulk SMS. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours.
