Одним из условий мэрии Йошкар-Олы было сохранение фасада здания и соблюдение всех охранных обязательств, так как здание является объектом культурного наследия. В планах капитальный ремонт фасада, крови, а также перекрытий, фундамента, коммуникаций и дворовой части. Название гостиницы будет придумано после тщательной концепции будущего отеля.
Отметим, что на сегодняшний день в столице Марий Эл работают 25 гостиниц. В них для туристов доступны порядка 800 номеров различной категории, пишет газета «Марийская правда».
