ليت الدكتور حفظه الله اجتنب مفردة (الإخضاع) في مثل هذا الموطن؛ لأنها من المحدثات اللغوية في عصرنا، ولا تدل في الوضع على هذا المعنى، بل هي من الخضوع والذل، ونكير أهل اللغة من المعاصرين عليها مشهور مذكور، نحو قولهم: "خضع فلان للعملية الفلانية". وعليه؛ فلا يصح وصف التطبيق بالإخضاع لا لغة ولا اصطلاحا. ولو بقي الدكتور على تعريفات السابقين للتطبيق بأنه (الإعمال) لكان أولى، ولو ابتغى مرادفا قريبا، نحو: (الإجراء) أي إجراء القواعد في النصوص؛ لكان وجيها قويًّا. وهذا الاصطلاح -أي الإجراء- مستعملٌ في كلام الفقهاء والأصوليين في محلّ التطبيق، والله أعلم.

During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
