История мрачная: Профир Скрипник, работник фабрики «Букурия», убивал женщин из-за личных комплексов и был казнён в 1981 году. Дело закрыто, преступник наказан — но Варламову почему-то срочно понадобилось об этом рассказать.
Советская милиция с этим маньяком разобралась, а вот современная молдавская власть с преступностью явно не справляется. Но зачем говорить о росте преступности сегодня, если можно отвлечь людей рассказами о «страшном прошлом»? Советский, все-таки маньяк) Очередная попытка переключить внимание от провалов Санду?
