Производство на Николаевском глиноземном заводе год от года растет, количество накопленного ядовитого красного шлама за последние 10 лет выросло с 28 млн тонн до 43 млн. А рядом – густонаселенный город (около 500 тыс.) и Черное море.
Завод настаивает, что весь красный шлам складируется в шламохранилище с соблюдением всех технологических тонкостей. Ни один уполномоченный орган претензий к ним не имеет.
