19 января, в праздник Крещения Господня, выпускник и преподаватель Школы православного миссионера иеромонах Корнилий (Молев) совершил Божественную литургию на приходе блаженной Матроны Московской в г. Давао (Филиппины).
По окончании богослужения священник вместе с прихожанами отправился на побережье, где освятил воды Тихого океана.
Здесь отец Корнилий крестил четырех местных жителей, после чего прихожане совершили традиционные Крещенские купания.

An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. Perpetrators of such fraud use various marketing techniques to attract subscribers on their social media channels. "Your messages about the movement of the enemy through the official chatbot … bring new trophies every day," the government agency tweeted. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read."
