Лидерами рейтинга оказались Москва, Санкт-Петербург и Татарстан. В исследовании учитывались 140 показателей по трём направлениям: субъективная удовлетворенность жителей, объективные факторы среды и динамика их изменений.
В 2023 году Белгородская область занимала 13-е место, в 2022 и 2021 годах – 7-е.
