Это сильнейшее усиление коалиции стран Глобального Юга. Для БРИКС Турция очень важный козырь, и чем больше их будет, тем меньше БРИКС будет рассматриваться в качестве исключительно расширения сферы влияния Китая.
С другой стороны, Эрдоган явно не собирается играть в составе БРИКС незначительную роль, и если уж решение о вступлении принято, то у него есть план поставить Турцию на одну ступеньку с другими странами-основательницами.
