Лучшим изображением дикой природы в 2024 году признана фотография с застрявшей в дупле белкой. Сделал снимок фотограф из Италии Милко Маркетти. Всего на конкурс было подано более 9 тысяч заявок от участников из 98 стран.

Премия Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards зародилась в Восточной Африке в 2015 году. Фотограф MBE Пол Джойнсон-Хикс просматривал свои фотографии животных, когда наткнулся на несколько, которые заставили его громко расхохотаться. Пол понял, что юмор этих фотографий, это одновременно и развлечение, и средство привлечь внимание людей к угрозам, с которыми сталкиваются те же самые животные.
