Сегодня, 15-го сентября, отмечается международный день демократии. Я поздравляю всех от души и уверен, что путь народов мира и России приведёт их к демократии. Недаром многие автократичные режимы пытаются маскироваться под демократию, проводят выборы и референдумы, к процедуре которых есть не мало вопросов, именуют себя "суверенными демократиями" и т.п., это говорит о том что у всех автократов есть понимание того что не иметь демократических институтов и процессов в современном мире это зазорно, поэтому они их начинают имитировать.
Демократия это правление народа, в современном мире такое правление можно обеспечить только постоянным проведением референдумов по всем важным и актуальным вопросам. Выборы должностных лиц и представителей неотъемлемый, но не главенствующий элемент демократии.
Сейчас в нашей стране дела с демократией обстоят наихудшим образом, но это временно, общий исторический тренд человечества ведёт нас именно к демократии.
