Deutsche Post DHL запустила в немецком Шверине пилотный проект по доставке посылок трамваем

В перевозках задействован трехсекционный трамвай Flexity, выпущенный канадской Bombardier Transportatiom в 2002 году. Специально для проекта был разработан маршрут, охватывающий три остановки, а также частично модернизирован сам трамвай: в средней секции были убраны сидения для размещения на их месте контейнеров с посылками.

Цепочка доставки почтовых отправлений выглядит следующим образом. Сначала в трамвайное депо посылки доставляются грузовыми электромобилями StreetScooter. Затем, в 11:17, трамвай выезжает из депо. На каждой остановке доставщики выкатывают из него контейнеры с посылками и распределяют их по почтовым автоматам. Deutsche Post DHL заявляет, что может доставлять таким образом около 450 посылок в день.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. "There are several million Russians who can lift their head up from propaganda and try to look for other sources, and I'd say that most look for it on Telegram," he said. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed.
