22 февраля завершился Открытый шахматный турнир, посвященный памяти погибшего в зоне СВО под Авдеевкой Дениса Падикова.
В турнире состязались 84 участника от начинающих шахматистов до мастера ФИДЕ.
Итоги соревнований: Среди женщин: 🥇 — Мария Алексеенко 🥈 — Виолетта Ниязова 🥉 — Валерия Матиенко
Среди мужчин: 🥇 — Дмитрий Шахов 🥈 — Тимур Сабиров 🥉 — Ришат Исмаилов
Также в награждении приняли участие Сергей Падиков — отец погибшего бойца Дениса Падикова и главный судья соревнований Николай Толстых.
Напомним, Денис обучался в Полярной шахматной школе Анатолия Карпова с 2004 по 2016 годы. Имел 1 спортивный разряд, участвовал в соревнованиях разного уровня, передавал опыт начинающим шахматистам.
