Бобруйск. Еврейское кладбище. Практически все захоронения сделаны в прошлом столетии. Жертвы немецких нацистов тоже похоронены здесь. При Российской империи в городе население на 60% состояло из евреев, в 1941 году уже на 31%. К 1991 году евреев в городе оставалось около 11 тысяч человек, на 200 тысяч жителей. Сейчас их почти не осталось. Как же удаётся такое крупное кладбище содержать в полном порядке и чистоте, если тут почти никого не осталось? Я помню в Киеве Куреневское еврейское кладбище - оно было к 2014 году в ужасном и полузаброшенном состоянии. Помимо прочего это говорит о гораздо более высоком уровне культуры в белорусском обществе.

WhatsApp, a rival messaging platform, introduced some measures to counter disinformation when Covid-19 was first sweeping the world. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups.
