Вдыхай октябрь, пока он не истлел,
пока застряло время в пограничье,
пока деревья голые антично
прикрыли срам единственным листком.
Туман оставит в памяти пробел.
Его дожди заполнят и синички,
лесок и чисто поле за леском.

Копи, копи, пока не поздно, впрок
для всех своих финалов и агоний
вот этот припозднившийся цветок,
покорность трав, не знающих обид.

Осенней мухой между сонных строк
и прочих бесполезных космогоний
ещё жужжит несбывшееся в срок,
но скоро упадёт на подоконник
и, лапками подёргав, отболит...
