Об этом пишет Financial Times. По данным газеты, Вашингтон заговорил о том, что существует путь к конфискации активов "в соответствии с международным правом".
"Члены G7 и другие особо пострадавшие государства могут арестовать российские суверенные активы в качестве контрмеры, чтобы побудить Россию прекратить агрессию", – говорится в письме правительства США, которое было распространено в комитетах G7.
Издание со ссылкой на чиновников пишет, что Штаты начали "активные переговоры" об этом и ведет к тому, что данный вопрос вынесут на обсуждение ближайшего саммита лидеров "семерки".
Отметим, что следующий такой саммит планируется провести 13-15 июня в Италии.
