19 января в Братске состоялось масштабное празднование Крещения Господня, собравшее около 3000 человек. Утром в храмах прошли торжественные богослужения, в которых участвовали около 1500 верующих. Крестный ход с участием 230 человек, возглавляемый епископом Константином, направился к купелям у Мемориала Славы, где совершили чин освящения воды.
Около 1670 человек окунулись в купели Центрального района, а 1100 – в Падунском районе. Безопасность обеспечивали спасатели МЧС, медики, полиция и казачьи дружины

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives?
