При допросе мужчина заявил, что оценивает свой груз в 300 тысяч рублей и о таможенных правилах он ничего не знал. По его словам, бивни мамонта он планировал использовать для изготовления сувениров.
Против иностранного гражданина возбуждено уголовное дело. Ему грозит срок до 5 лет лишения свободы и штраф до 1 миллиона рублей.
