На выставке «Снейдерс и фламандский натюрморт XVII века» в ГМИИ им. Пушкина (очень хорошей, сходите) сейчас выставлен «Натюрморт с лебедем», собственно, Снейдерса. Самая, наверное, известная его картина. Но моё личное название для этой работы: утро пятницы…

Это, кстати, сущая правда. И выставка фламандцев отличная, и поздние совещания в конце недели — зло.

И хотя ГМИИ им. Пушкина с упорством достойным лучшего применения продолжает выставлять натюрморты, которые суть искусство для похода в музей с тётушкой, тут надо идти и смотреть с тётушкой любимой. Краски, мёртвая плоть, фламандские кошки. Всё очень шикарно и сразу хочется пообедать потом.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. The S&P 500 fell 1.3% to 4,204.36, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.7% to 32,943.33. The Dow posted a fifth straight weekly loss — its longest losing streak since 2019. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 2.2% to 12,843.81. Though all three indexes opened in the green, stocks took a turn after a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated more than expected in early March as consumers' inflation expectations soared to the highest since 1981. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences.
