Пресс-секретарь Путина Дмитрий Песков прокомментировал предложение спикера Совета федерации Валентины Матвиенко законодательно запретить «движение чайлдфри».
По его словам, у Кремля нет позиции по «движению чайлдфри», однако демографическая проблема остается «одним из главных вызовов» России:
«Конечно, повышение рождаемости — это один из главных приоритетов в работе всей власти и всей страны. Все, что нужно делать для повышения рождаемости должно конечно, делаться. И все, что мешает этому, должно из нашей жизни исчезать».

Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use.
