Один из источников сообщил, что ракета несла макетные боеголовки, и назвал причиненный ущерб «довольно небольшим».
Второй источник подтвердил: «В данном случае (ракета) была без взрывчатки... Не было никаких взрывов, как мы ожидали. Что-то было, но не очень большое».
По словам экспертов, исключение взрывчатых веществ из «головной части» — теплозащищенной части ракеты, несущей боеголовку, — оставляет место для приборов, которые страны, испытывающие ракетные конструкции, могут использовать для оценки характеристик.
