🇶🇦 Первые пять самолётов Rafale перелетели в Катар
В среду 5 июня первые пять многоцелевых истребителей четвертого поколения Rafale перелетели в Катар из Франции на авиабазу Тамим (Tamim) возле города Духан (Dukhan). Прибытие самолётов было обставлено в лучших ближневосточных традициях.
Заказ Катара у Dassault Aviation на самолёты Rafale составляет 36 самолётов. Было заключено 2 контракта: первый на 24 машины, а второй ещё на 12 (опцион от первого контракта). Всего Катар получит 30 одноместных и 6 двухместных истребителей.
Общая стоимость двух контрактов, которые включают в том числе подготовку пилотов, наземного персонала, вооружение, включая крылатые ракеты дальнего радиуса действия и ракеты воздух-воздух большого радиуса действия Meteor, составляет 7,4 млрд. €.
Первый самолёт представителям военного ведомства Катара передали на заводе Dassualt в феврале этого года (мы писали об этом). По завершению обучения пилотов самолёты вчера перелетели в Катар.

Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion.
