В пятницу 7 июня на авиабазе Сувон ВВС Республики Корея прошла церемония вывода из состава флота последних истребителей McDonnell Douglas Phantom II.
На мероприятии присутствовали министр национальной обороны г-н Шин Вок Сик и руководство ВВС Республики Корея. Церемония включала в себя поминовение погибших экипажей "Фантомов", поздравления и символическая церемонию а также самый последний "боевой" вылет двух F-4.
Всего ВВС Южной Кореи эксплуатировали около 200 «Фантомов» в трёх различных модификациях: F-4D, RF-4C и F-4E. Первыми, в 1969 году, поступили на вооружение F-4D, переданные из состава ВВС США по программе «Peace Spectator». Позже, в 1977 году, в рамках программы «Peace Pheasant II» США поставили в Южную Корею истребители модификации F-4E.

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever."
