Твёрдый контракт с Boeing на 25 самолётов 737 MAX 10 с опционами ещё на 25 лайнеров был подписан на авиасалоне Фарнборо в 2022 году. В то время перевозчик был втянут в серьезный спор с европейским концерном Airbus из-за проблем с A350, в разгар которого Airbus расторг сделку на 50 лайнеров модели A321neo. Позже стороны помирились и Airbus восстановил контракт.
