Simply saying that Satoshi is hiding or that Satoshi is dead is inadequate. You see, there is a court case for the control of the protocol and the coins. All up, it is worth probably $314 billion US dollars. If I wasn’t Satoshi (I am), there are many ways that Satoshi could have discredited me anonymously. But that won’t happen because very simply I am. I know they don’t want to admit that but, reality is dealt with in courts and not the relativistic BS that some people seem to want.

The PoSM crowd will start with an argument is that Satoshi is dead. Then, they will argue that Satoshi was an utter loner with no computer systems or that at least Satoshi somehow threw these into a volcano just before jumping in himself. Finally, they will argue that Satoshi has no background or history and came out of nowhere. Self-taught in 8 to 10 different disciplines.

They will argue that Satoshi has no family. Likely arguing that either he was a virgin birth or sprung whole out of the row of a God in the form of Minerva.

They will say that Satoshi had no friends, work colleagues, or anyone else with whom he could have talked and shared information.

The funny thing that they seem to ignore is that people don’t exist outside of the real world. Not even Aspies like myself. In the real world, people have other people that they can trust. There are people like my uncle with who I shared information. My cousins. My friends, as limited as that really is.

They want you to believe that proof comes from a digital code. They want to believe that if you share that code, someone may not be the owner. They want to claim that dread pirate Roberts was someone else and that the years of forensic evidence found on the laptop belonging to Ross Ulbricht was all placed by the police. They want you to believe that normal people share their keys. They want you to believe that the only purpose for bitcoin is to buy heroin. I wanted to believe that it is a system that has nothing to do with contract or law.

They want you to believe a lie.

Well, if Satoshi was not me, it would be easy to intervene - years ago.

Not a good arguement

If Bitcoin is SO very resiliant - then there should be no flaws

There is no attach if bitcoin is honest.

You see, the "legal attack" only refers to dishonest money. But, bitcoin is about honest money.

So, there is no attack.

Wing Commander Don Lynam

Don Lynam is a former Royal Australian Air Force Wing Commander, and his service to the RAAF earned him a prestigious appointment to the Order of Australia for his services to the RAAF with the Logistics Branch Headquarters Support Command.

In his deposition, Lynam appears humble about his achievements, so what can be gleaned about them comes from a combination of the few details incidentally revealed as a part of that deposition, and close read between the lines.

Lynam joined the Royal Australian Air Force in January 1957 as a trainee and worked his way up to the rank of wing commander—the seventh-highest rank in the RAAF—in the engineer branch. Wing Commander is the rank equivalent of Lieutenant Colonel in the British and US Armies, as well as the U.S. Air Force and the Marine Corps. His time in the RAAF encompassed work in Australia and abroad, including providing maintenance support for aircraft squadrons in Singapore, Penang in Malaysia and Ubon in Thailand throughout the Vietnam war, and spent time States-side as an exchange officer in the United States Air Force.

The work for which he would become recognized began after returning from his tour of exchange in the United States. Lynam became the head of a group for the development of management systems, where he oversaw the creation of several important systems for use across the RAAF.

Lynam’s relationship with Dr Wright is a key feature of the sworn deposition.

“I was given the impression that he held me up as a little bit of a role model for his life; he admired me. That was very flattering, but for no particular reason that I knew, he just held me up as a little but of an image to emulate, but he’s a lot smarter than I am.”

Reading through Lynam’s deposition, Lynam does not strike one as a mere shill for Wright’s claim to the Nakamoto name. He even remarks that the early, pre-release draft of the white paper he alleges to have seen was ‘poorly written’ and in need of revision—though he admits the technical subject matter of the paper was beyond him. According to him:

“If I didn’t think that absolutely honest answers would be of assistance to Craig, I probably would have said that I don’t want to depose… I agreed to do it because I have so much faith in Craig and my knowledge of what happened through that time that I have high confidence that Craig has behaved correctly and my understanding of it is correct and I can answer all the questions with absolute honesty.”

Over dinner, Craig asked “if we still had the computer.” When he heard what had happened to it, he said, “you should have kept it; it might have been worth some money.”

And that was when he told them about Bitcoin mining. “We said ‘what does that mean?’” Craig explained that if the value of Bitcoin ever reached $800, he’d be a billionaire. He made some calculations about their computer and the time it had been running and said that they’d have 6,500 Bitcoins. At the time, Max said, Bitcoin was worth “still pretty much nothing,” and it was “definitely not worth looking for a computer that had been put in a landfill a couple of years ago.”
