Члены правления Социал-демократической партии Германии (СДПГ) единогласно поддержали кандидатуру Олафа Шольца на пост канцлера на предстоящих досрочных выборах в Бундестаг (парламент), заявила сопредседатель партии Саския Эскен 25 ноябряна пресс-конференции в Берлине.
В ходе пресс-конференции Эскен заявила: «Мы, члены партии, приняли единогласное решение выдвинуть Олафа Шольца в качестве нашего кандидата на предстоящих выборах. Учитывая текущую ситуацию в нашей стране, в Европе и в мире, Олаф Шольц является наиболее подходящим кандидатом на пост канцлера Германии».
