📃مقدمه:
دیپلماسی عمومی شامل برنامه‌ریزی راهبردی و اجرای برنامه‌های آموزشی، فرهنگی و ارتباطی توسط دولت (الف) برای تاثیرگذاری بر افکار عمومی کشور (ب) است تا فشار افکار عمومی رهبران سیاسی کشور (ب) را به سمت تصمیم‌گیری به نفع اهداف سیاست خارجی کشور (الف) سوق دهد. به عبارت دیگر دیپلماسی عمومی مجموعه‌ای از اقدامات برای برقراری ارتباط و ایجاد تعامل با جوامع مختلف است تا از این طریق با کشورهای دیگر روابط بلندمدت ایجاد کند. اساس روابط در دیپلماسی عمومی به ارزش‌های فرهنگی و اصول سیاسی حاکم بر کشورها مرتبط است. در نهایت هدف اصلی اجرای دیپلماسی عمومی تامین منافع ملی و افزایش قدرت نرم کشور است.
دیپلماسی عمومی نقش حیاتی در شکل‌دهی به تصویر و تاثیر یک کشور در صحنۀ جهانی دارد. ایران یک کشور دارای تاریخ، فرهنگ، تمدن کهن و غنی از پتانسیل‌های لازم برای برقراری روابط با سایر کشورهاست. لذا یک دیپلماسی عمومی موثر می‌تواند ابزار قدرتمندی برای افزایش جایگاه بین‌المللی آن باشد. این پژوهش در پی آن است تا وضعیت موجود دیپلماسی عمومی ایران را تجزیه و تحلیل کرده و استراتژی‌هایی برای بهره‌برداری از پتانسیل آن برای تبدیل شدن به یک کشور پویا در این زمینه ارائه نماید.

📃Introduction:
Public diplomacy consists of the strategic planning and implementation of educational, cultural and communication programs by state (a) to influence the public opinion of country (b) so that pressure from the weight of public opinion moves country (b)'s political leaders to make decisions in favor of country (a)'s foreign policy goals. In other words, public diplomacy is a set of actions to communicate and interact with different societies in order to establish long-term relations with other countries. The basis of relations in public diplomacy relates to the cultural values and political principles governing a country. Finally, the main goal of implementing public diplomacy is to secure national interests and increase the country's soft power.
Public diplomacy plays a pivotal role in shaping the image and influence of a country on the world stage. Iran is a country with a rich and ancient history, culture, and civilization that has the potential to establish relations with other countries on that basis. Therefore, an effective public diplomacy can be a powerful tool to increase the country's international status. This research seeks to analyze the current state of Iran's public diplomacy and provide strategies to utilize its potential to become a leading country in this field.
