В последующем МО передало его ФСБ и ФСИН, его пытали и принудили взять на себя вину в убийстве жителей Мариуполя, после чего "суд" формализовал решение спецслужб о пожизненном сроке лишения свободы для этого героя, который защищал свою родную землю и Украину.
