🔹محمد بن علی بن ملک‌داد تبریزی، ملقب به شمس‌الدین، یا شمس تبریزی حدود سال ۵۸۲ هجری قمری از صوفیانِ مسلمان مشهور سدهٔ هفتم هجری است. 🔸شمس بسیار اهل #سفر بود. 🔹او در ۲۶ جمادی‌الثانی ۶۴۲ (معادل ۶ دسامبر ۱۲۴۴ میلادی و ۱۶ آذر ۶۲۳ هجری خورشیدی) به #قونیه رسید و با جلال‌الدین محمد بلخی معروف به #مولانا، شاعر بزرگ ایرانی، #ملاقات کرد و با شخصیت نیرومند و نفس گرمی که داشت مولانا را #دگرگون کرد. 🔸حسادت اطرافیان باعث می‌شود که #شمس، قونیه را چندین بار ترک کند و سرانجام در سال ۶۴۵ شمس تبریزی بی آنکه کسی آگاه شود قونیه را رها کرد و راه سفر در پیش گرفت؛ و دیگر کسی نشانی از او نیافت. 🔹سخنان شمس تبریزی را که در #مجالس مختلف بر زبان آورده، #مریدان وی گردآوری کرده‌اند که به نام «مقالات شمس تبریزی» معروف است.
