Собственно с него когда то и начиналась британская Гана, здесь расположены маяк, форт Джеймс, здание старой таможни и много чего ещё.

Джеймстаун одновременно это и самый бедный и густонаселённый район столицы.
Не побывав здесь, невозможно понять ни Гану, ни в целом, англоязычную Африку. Последняя кстати по всем параметрам проигрывает франкофонной части Черного континента, - ни души, ни самостоятельности, и мало что африканского в позитивном смысле.
Если не считать конечно, извечную бедность проявлением африканских традиций.
