По данным Yonhap, южнокореец был арестован после частной поездки в Китай в январе. В конце февраля его этапировали в Москву. В СИЗО арестованный затребовал религиозную литературу на своём языке. На родине его знают как религиозного деятеля.
Пэк Кван Сун также является директором ООО «Белый камень». Фирма зарегистрирована в РФ, располагается во Владивостоке и занимается туризмом, торговлей и транспортом.
