Представитель Ирана в ООН заявил, что утверждения о причастности Тегерана к организации недавнего покушения на кандидата в президенты США Дональда Трампа совершенно безосновательны.
«Иран считает Трампа преступником, который должен предстать перед судом за убийство генерала Касема Сулеймани, и мы выбрали легальный путь привлечения его к ответственности», - сказал он.
Ранее CNN сообщил со ссылкой на свои источники, что американские силы безопасности некоторое время назад получили информацию о том, что Иран готовит заговор с целью убийства Трампа из мести за ликвидацию генерала Сулеймани.
В Трампа на митинге стрелял Томас Мэтью Крукс. Покушавшийся был уничтожен на месте. На данный момент официальная версия говорит о преступнике-одиночке.
