В этом музее нас встречает скульптурный портрет, выполненный шведским скульптором Оскаром Нилльсоном по методу М.М. Герасимова. Из глубины веков на нас смотрит ярл Биргер Магнуссон из рода Фольгунгов. "Серый кардинал" Эрика XI, отец короля Вальдемара I и основатель Стокгольма. Его супруга Ингеборг Эриксдоттир была дальней родственницей князя новгородского Александра Ярославича, которому предстояло войти в историю под прозвищем Невский. И Возможно, одна из многочисленных отметин на черепе великого Ярла нанесена именно копьём князя.
