Путешественник, тесно связанный с Южным Уралом, вчера начал переход по Южному океану на весельной лодке от мыса Горн до Австралии. Это будет второй этап кругосветного маршрута в Южном океане. Старт нового путешествия состоялся из порта аргентинской Ушуайи.
«На этом этапе предстоит более сложная задача. Когда я шел от Новой Зеландии до мыса Горн по Тихому океану, я прошел 11 тысяч километров за 153 дня. А теперь предстоит пройти от мыса Горн до Австралии 18 тысяч километров», - рассказал Федор Конюхов.
