Пожарные расчеты прибыли на место происшествия через 14 минут. К их приезду огонь уже охватил 12 квадратных метров.
Пожарным удалось локализовать возгорание в 16:52, а полностью ликвидировать его только к 17:36. В тушении участвовали 5 человек и 2 единицы техники пожарно-спасательной службы Сахалинской области.
К счастью, обошлось без жертв и пострадавших. Причины пожара устанавливаются.
