По данным следствия, в пятницу 15 марта около 17:50 мужчина пришел на один из избирательных участков в Ленинском районе Воронежа. Он поджег стол членов избирательной комиссии, на котором находились бюллетени, книги списков избирателей и другие документы.
СК утверждает, что местный житель согласился поджечь стол под предлогом возврата 600 тысяч рублей, которые он ранее перевел мошенникам.
