В субботу, 23 ноября, прошла отправка новобранцев из городов Дербент, Дагестанские Огни и Дербентского района на военную службу по призыву в рамках осенней призывной комиссии.

◼️Срок службы призывников составит 1 год. Призывники прошли медицинское обследование, обеспечены продовольственным имуществом. Отметим, что призывники срочной службы не будут направлены в зону проведения специальной операции.

◼️Провожать новобранцев пришли заместитель главы администрации г.Дербента Видади Зейналов, военный комиссар Дербента, Дербентского района и Дагестанских Огней Фарид Мусаев, а также председатель Совета ветеранов города Гаджимурад Гаджимурадов

Pavel Durov, Telegram's CEO, is known as "the Russian Mark Zuckerberg," for co-founding VKontakte, which is Russian for "in touch," a Facebook imitator that became the country's most popular social networking site. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed.
