Вроде осень на дворе, а мои фавориты книжного оформления не слишком соответствуют осенней цветовой гамме. Зато книга про историю кладбищ очень в тему Хеллоуина.
Работа с обложкой очень важна, особенно если речь идёт о художественной литературе. Тут её в оформлении «Белграда», второй книги Нади Алексеевой. Эта чудесная девушка – автор романа «Полунощница», о котором писала. Поверьте, дизайнер очень точно схватил суть её новой истории.
Отдельная любовь и благодарность за «Бездны», чей дизайн вторит тому, как оформлена предыдущая работа Пилар Кинтаны. Хорошо о повести «Сука» сказано на The Blueprint.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war. Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war.
