Сегодня отмечается День охраны мест обитаний - важная дата, учрежденная 45 лет назад в Берне в рамках Конвенции об охране дикой фауны и флоры и природных сред обитания

Наш фонд в течение 8 лет прилагает усилия к сохранению озера Байкал и его обитателей

Так, в 2018 году стартовала программа по изучению байкальской нерпы – единственного млекопитающего озера. Проект включает в себя изучение перемещений, питания, накопленных в организме веществ и других показателей животных. В группу исследования вошли генетики, физиологи, зоологи и другие специалисты Института проблем экологии и эволюции имени А.Н. Северцова РАН, ФГБУ «Заповедное Подлеморье» и иных организаций

Этим летом ученые ИПЭЭ РАН при поддержке фонда «Мир вокруг тебя» компании Siberian Wellness провели очередную экспедицию для учета численности нерп на самых крупных залежках и собрали материал для оценки влияния туристов на поведение животных. Результатами работы мы поделимся в ближайшее время, а пока предлагаем взглянуть на фото нерп
