Это не просто журнал, а целая история Института Дальнего Востока АН СССР/РАН с переходом в 2022 г. на название Институт Китая и современной Азии РАН. Данный архив -- отличное подручное средство для современных учёных цитировать специалистов-востоковедов, публиковавшихся в журнале за прошедшие полвека. Отметим, что представители РАН неоднократно ставили перед собой задачу выпускать журналы РАН в открытом доступе.
