Энгельгардта РАН выяснили, что короткая последовательность РНК, регулирующая активность определенного гена, играет ключевую роль в формировании устойчивости самой агрессивной опухоли мозга — глиобластомы — к химиотерапевтическому препарату темозоломиду. Эксперименты показали, что, если «заблокировать» выработку этой молекулы, клетки опухоли становятся чувствительными к лечению.
