Shaibani has also suggested that Syria will pursue friendly relations with Israel, despite its continued invasion of Syrian territory.

The news that the appointed foreign minister of the new HTS-led Syrian government will attend the World Economic Forum has stirred more controversy after signalling Damascus is now under the thumb of the United States. Shaibani has also suggested that Syria will pursue friendly relations with Israel, despite its continued invasion of Syrian territory.
"He has to start being more proactive and to find a real solution to this situation, not stay in standby without interfering. It's a very irresponsible position from the owner of Telegram," she said.
