Сегодня в Верховном суде Карелии коллегия судей рассмотрела апелляционные жалобы прокуратуры и адвоката Шогина на приговор первой инстанции по уголовному делу фермера Шалак и приняла решение заменить осужденной условное наказание реальным лишением свободы. Шалак взяли под стражу в зале суда. Ей назначили наказание в виде 6 лет лишения свободы в колонии общего режима, как ранее и просила гособвинитель Татьяна Дубейковская.

Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. Pavel Durov, Telegram's CEO, is known as "the Russian Mark Zuckerberg," for co-founding VKontakte, which is Russian for "in touch," a Facebook imitator that became the country's most popular social networking site. During the operations, Sebi officials seized various records and documents, including 34 mobile phones, six laptops, four desktops, four tablets, two hard drive disks and one pen drive from the custody of these persons.
