Минприроды и Государственное агентство по управлению государственным имуществом должно передать государственное учреждение «Государственный природный парк «Каракол» в ведение управления делами президента с действующей предельной штатной численностью, текущими условиями оплаты труда и имущественным комплексом.
Общая площадь природного парка «Каракол» составляет более 38 тысяч гектаров.
