Беде́кер — это простой путеводитель, названный так по фамилии немецкого издателя Карла Бедекера, популяризировавшего этот формат. В 1827 он основал «путеводительское» издательство в Кобленце, которое принесло ему всемирную известность. Кстати, пятизвездочная оценка достопримечательностей ~~в яндекскартах~~ — как раз его придумка! Интересно, что нарицательное наименование его книг перешло и в русский язык и вполне себе использовалось в печати даже в ранние советские годы.
