Именно в этот день в 1705 году был издан указ царя Петра I, повелевавший создание первого «полка морских солдат» для охраны кораблей, абордажа неприятельских судов и проведения десанта.

История российской морской пехоты – это безупречная служба Отечеству более чем в три сотни лет, это героическая летопись и легендарные традиции!
