Шведский механизированный пехотный батальон прибыл для усиления присутствия НАТО в Латвии.

В Рижский порт прибыл шведский контингент численностью 600 человек, чтобы присоединиться к многонациональной бригаде НАТО под руководством Канады, дислоцированной в Латвии.

На кадрах видно, что шведские военнослужащие прибыли на БМП CV9040, а также на бронемашинах техподдержки DSpbv 90D и БРЭМ Bgbv 90. В их составе также присутствуют БТР Patria AMV XA-360 и его медицинская версия.

Швеция впервые направила своих солдат в другое государство члена НАТО после вступления в альянс 7 марта 2024 года.

Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
