Продолжаем про снаряды Leopard 2. M830A1 HEAT-MP-T.

В боеукладке первой очереди танка Leopard 2А4 и на выкладке (кадры 1-2) присутствуют снаряды M830A1 HEAT-MP-T.

M830A1 HEAT-MP-T (a.k.a. MPAT) - американский многоцелевой (кумулятивно-осколочный) снаряд (кадр 3, второй слева) с возможностью воздушного подрыва. M830A1 использует подкалиберную 80-мм боевую часть с отделяющимся поддоном и многофункциональный взрыватель, который обеспечивает возможность контактного (Ground) и дистанционного (Air) подрыва. Выбор режимов осуществляется заряжающим вручную. В наземном режиме (Ground) он работает аналогично обычному кумулятивному снаряду, в воздушном режиме (Air) включается неконтактный взрыватель (кадры 4-5).
Разработан по итогам Desert Storm, был принят на вооружение в 1994 г.
