Можно со мной не согласиться, но самый скучный обзор на Париж - это с Эйфелевой башни. Находится башня не в центре города, как многие думают. Перед ней с одной стороны самые некрасивые лужайки Марсового поля (его планируют реконструировать к Олимпиаде-2024), с другой - мой XV район с многоэтажками, впереди Трокадеро с вечными строительными кранами, и нет вида на саму башню. Прибавьте к этому железные ограждения вокруг и толпы людей, и ради этого ты должен был стоять в очереди час, а то и больше. (Снимки сделаны в феврале 2018).

After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events." At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. "For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change.
