آن واریانتی که در زمان کوتاه سبب سرایت نمی‌شد، گذشت! دلتا از قبلی‌ها مسری‌تر بود، زیرواریانت BA.1 از دلتا مسری‌تر است، BA.2 از BA.1 مسری‌تر است ... حالا BA.4 و BA.5 و BA.2.12.1 از BA.2 هم مسری‌ترند!
